Getting ready to litigate over Zoom! Thanks to the changes implemented by the Attorney General, Doug Downey, family law proceedings are now being conducted over Zoom as opposed to over the phone.

The pandemic meant different things to different people. For victims of intimate partner violence, however, it meant only one thing .... survival. There was no ...time to learn a new language, be inspired by the cooking or baking we saw in various Facebook groups, make good on our New Years resolution to get fit or participate in Zoom calls with our friends. The pandemic for many of us meant a time of hyper-vigilance. To continue to defend malicious allegations by our abusers without the supports of community resources. To draft court documents in isolation. The pandemic heightened our fears of the unknown .... and left us worried about our ability to protect our young. See more
