We have bought a group of people to Westport on Briar Island for their Whale watching tour today. Lovely day for it with a calm sea and temperatures at 20c.

With effect from Friday 24 July 2020 a face mask or covering will be required to be worn by all passengers and our drivers when travelling in our SUV’s.

If you have a mobility issue and require the use of a wheelchair and are still able to transfer to a car seat, we offer the use of our powered wheelchair. This chair will allow a client with a mobility issues to go to their medical appointment without the need of a carer or family member, once at the hospital we can get the client safely into the powered wheelchair and allow them the freedom to go to their appointment. Once completed we will meet them back at the vehicle for the transport home.

Paid parking returns to Halifax on 01 June, this includes the hospital. If you have an appointment in Halifax and want to avoid the busier roads and car parks let Annapolis Valley Travel take you from your door to the hospital door and return you home after the appointment. In light of the continuing COVID-19 issues we offer our clients use of our private car service to and from appointments at Hospitals and medical centers in Nova Scotia. This service is for the booked client only and you will not be sharing transport with other clients without prior arrangements. We continue to sanitize our vehicles after each journey to give our clients as much protection as we can from any possible infections.

Our Chevrolet Express is now fitted with less seats to ensure a Social Distance is maintained from the driver We will now only carry single passengers or groups together (up to 6), plus there will be no mixing of other passengers during the current Emergency status. We would like to offer assistance with grocery/prescription home delivery (free of charge), to seniors, families and community members unable to do so for themselves throughout this period of isolation. ... We are collecting some of the last of our passengers who are trying to get home before COVID-19 closes down more services. Our van allows for almost 10 ft (3 meters) space between the driver and passengers. We are still running for any necessary medical appointments too.
