Today, students and staff took the time to acknowledge Remembrance Day through a virtual assembly in each of the classrooms. Thank you for all that you are doing to keep students learning, practising safe protocols & having fun retuning to routines or beginning new routines for this new school year.... Please find the attached poster for the newly designed "Mindful Kids PA Workshop", now know as a, A Mindful Morning. Please consider sharing with your parent community as well as staff, with the intention of providing families information towards a meaningful, safe, fun & mindful experience for Nov. 6/20. Additional information as needed is below. This years Mindful Kids PA Day Workshops have had to change due to our new normal. The biggest but best change? . They are now a FULL morning of mindful fun with lots of added outdoor time -yep, that’s 3 hrs now or a Mindful Morning as I like to say. Small groups were always our thing & now even better!. All the protocols are in place to keep kids safe yet still have all the mindful fun with crafts, games, activities, exercises & nature beauty that make up mindfulness for kids. This mindful morning will be occurring at Grassroots Yoga Stratford. **Registration is only open for 5 days & closes Friday, October 30th at 6pm** Children empowering themselves with all things mindfulness is amazing to witness because the sneaky thing of it all - it gives kids that little boost of calm, confidence, self-awareness, focus or even self-compassion they may need right now in their everyday life. Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding throughout the last three and a half months. It goes without saying that these have been unusual times as we moved to a distance learning model. I am extremely proud of all of the students and staff for their efforts in engaging in this new style of learning. I also want to acknowledge the support you, as parents, provided to your children as they complete...d tasks. While it is difficult to know exactly what September will bring, I am confident that your children will be engaged in learning that will challenge them to reach their fullest potential.
