AnneFact: Poppies are my favourite flower! There are twelve different varieties that display in an array of beautiful colours, but today we will see the Papaver Rhoeas pins. This variety is the heartiest, growing up to twelve inches in height. I think today of my grandfather, who served as an airplane mechanic during WWII. He got malaria while stationed in Burma (now Myanmar). He died when I was very young, but his mementos from overseas were displayed proudly throughout my grandparents’ home, as well as his golf trophies. John Woolcox, my maternal grandfather, who sometimes visits me in dreams and leaves poker chips and playing cards around for me to find. Thank you #remembranceday

"Alien Species" has had more than a thousand views in just a few short days! This video put together by Myles Howard stars my friends and I in the psychedelic jam band Prism Tape Philosophy as we wander through a place haunted by the memory of our possibly alien ancestors. We are a large ensemble, which has made it very difficult if not impossible to get together and jam our trippy live-off-the-floor stylings. This track was actually pieced together one member at a time at our home studios. Imagine simulating a live jam! It was a bit of a challenge, but I always have fun playing and recording music. I think it kind of sounds like porno music with the simple yet smooth-funk bass line I threw onto this lol But I like it! Hope you do, too! :)

AnneFact: When I posted the teaser for this latest Tell It To Sweeney quarantune session, I mentioned that I was wearing a t-shirt from my favourite horror movie franchise. If you can identify it, let me know, and you could win a thing! I haven't figured out what the thing is yet but it'll be awesome, just like you! Hallowe'en, as with every day, is nothing without great company- and I am lucky to have it in spades!
