We're in the middle of our Afternoon Live with Anne Murray on Zoom and we were laughing at Anne's reaction to this magazine cover. Anne saw it here at the centre and said, "Whose recipe?!" Lol Also she mentioned that's probably the last time she held a mixer haha!

Bryan Adams in a singer, songwriter, photographer and activist. He has won 20 Juno Awards and been nominated for 15 Grammys. He wrote the song What Would It Take with Anne in mind. They later recorded the song together. Thanks Bryan Adams Anne Murray

Ruth Buzzi is a Golden Globe Award winning singer, actor and comedian. She is probably best known as a regular on Rowan & Martins Laugh-In from 1968-1973. She and Anne have been friends for over forty years. Thanks Ruth Buzzi Anne Murray

Anne co-hosted the Mike Douglas Show on January 23, 1980. She was joined by actor, Martin Sheen; Canadian musician, John Allen Cameron; and her friend, comedian, Ruth Buzzi. Here is Anne performing Then Came You with The Spinners from that show.

Heres a short CBC documentary about Annes career changing gig at the Imperial Room in Torontos Royal York Hotel, Nov. 30-Dec. 10, 1970. Up until this point t...he venue had been home to artists like Count Basie, Tony Bennett and Ella Fitzgerald. Although Anne was riding high, with Snowbird having recently been a number one hit in Canada and the U.S., it was unclear how an audience in tuxedos and ball gowns would react to this East Coast performer who performed barefoot and was associated with country music. Anne, of course, completely won them over with her beautiful voice and down-home charm.

It was 50 years ago this month that "Snowbird" was released as a single propelling Anne to international stardom. The song, by fellow Canadian, Gene MacLellan, ...would top the charts in Canada and the US and eventually make her the first Canadian solo female artist to be awarded an American Gold Record. The song would eventually be covered by everyone from Elvis Presley and Bing Crosby to Rita MacNeil. Here is Anne performing "Snowbird" on NBCs Midnight Special in March of 1973. She hosted the show that night and sang this as well as Dannys Song and I Know.

Michael Bublé is a singer, songwriter, actor and producer who has sold over 75 million albums worldwide. He has also won four Grammys and 13 Juno Awards. Michael and Anne recorded Baby Its Cold Outside together in 2008.Thanks Michael Bublé Anne Murray
