We are looking for a person to work every Saturday for us here on the farm. I am purposely not doing this as a "job posting" as we consider everyone who works here part of the Anneth family. The tasks are quite varied but does it does involve mainly helping us care for our market garden. Hey it’s not all about the oranges and yellows of squash. Look what else is coming to the North Saanich Farm market today! Also salad greens, basil, arugula. Oh and red.radishes. A fall rainbow! @nsaanichfarmmarket

Fall markers are the best. Such a time of comfort food - squash, pumpkin, leeks. Soup anyone? Also we have a real treat: Bulk Thai Dragon Peppers for those of you who want to make hot sauce. These must be ordered ahead and picked up at the farm. ($14/pound). See you tomorrow at the North SAANICH Farm market @nsaanichfarmmarket

Yup our Wednesday markets are now closed as our summer and fall harvest is winding down and we remain short of Human Resources. However we still have some bulk tomatoes, eggplant, squash, pumpkins, basil and arugula. Just email us if you want to pick up. And we will be at North SAANICH farm market Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30. The last of these is the Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend. But don’t despair! We will be switching over to our on-farm winter markers in November. These happen on the SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM NOV TO MAY. @nsaanichfarmmarket

If you’re a billionaire you can build a rocket to take you into space. For those less well off I suspect over 4 kg of Thai Dragon peppers could at least get you to the ionosphere. And perhaps require a bit more bravery..

We are feeling the love for this upcoming pickup market. Thank you for the ongoing enthusiastic response! We still have lots of stew and ground lamb, merguez sausage, spaghetti squash,potted herbs and dryer balls....

It is so very sad to be a large spaghetti squash when our customers all say I just need a small squash today In praise of these sad giants, they are equally as tasty, equally as tender.
