Would you build a house without a plan? Are you stuck in wanting "a better life" and you don't yet have a plan for it? Or is it that you can't see a way to that "better life." Have you asked yourself how I am here, again? Where it just seems like life is repeating itself in different iterations. ... I have! Let's look at this from a different perspective. Have you heard the quote, "You are the architect of your life"? What does that really mean? Let's say for the moment we are, in fact, building a house. We have a contractor, and he doesn't have a plan from the architect, what type of house will the contractor build? From memory - something he remembers from the past, a simple, average house. A random house - No plans, so he can do whatever. Who knows if it will make sense? Become overwhelmed so... no plans, no action, no house. Now, if WE are the contractors (building our lives) without a plan (vision), what type of life will we create? We’ll recreate the past because that is all we know. We’ll create random circumstances influenced by our past, society, family, environment. Nothing will happen, just more of the same, we won’t be closer to any goals, dreams. So may I ask how can we create the life of our dreams, or attain any goals, if we do not have a blueprint of what it looks like? Do we want to leave our futures to be determined by our past, or by society? When we tap into our soul's visions, and we revisit it every day, we are inspired to take actions that will bring us closer to this vision. This is how we become the architect of our lives. Are you willing to let your past dictate your future? Or are you ready to create a vision for your life? Drop me some in the comment below if you want to be the architect of your life. #lifeblueprint #embodiedvision #visionboard #createyourlife #innerwisdom #actionboard #dreamboard #huna #visionboardworkshop #soulwork #onlyevergrateful #epigentics #befeelthinkdo See more

"This vision board represents not only my dreams but more importantly how I want to live my life - Isabelle Maillet @enseignante_equilibree Isabelle shared this about her experience ... REPOST I have been working on my vision board for a few weeks, and I thought I would show you the centre of the board to start: In the middle, the photo of a little Isabelle who is smiling back at me is to remind me to have fun every day. For me, this vision board represents not only my dreams but, more importantly, how I want to live my life: with calm, with passion, being creative and having fun. Do you want to make a vision board for yourself that represents your deepest desires? My friend @annettehebert offers a very special session where she will guide you in creating your own on February 1st @mavenhillfarm - Swipe left for more info. Je travaille sur ma vision board depuis quelques semaines et j’ai pensé vous montrer juste le centre pour commencer: au plein milieu, la photo d’une petite Isabelle qui me sourit pour me rappeler de m’amuser au quotidien Pour moi, ce tableau représente non seulement mes rêves, mais surtout comment je veux vivre ma vie : dans le calme, avec passion, en étant créative et en ayant du fun! I postponed my Embodied Vision Workshop in Halifax this weekend. I was ready! But to be honest, I was feeling miserable. I reasoned that it was the storm, the stars, my cycle, what I had for supper last night, January? Never did I consider it was me.... Since I’ve started doing VB workshop, I have always been adamant that I do not want to do them in January with the whole New Year Resolution vibe, it just never felt right. So why did I plan one in January? Because it made sense. I’m going to Halifax anyway. I have a list of people who want to come. So why not? January is the time to set goals. Everyone is doing it. And to top it off, my friend "Fear" also showed up with {if I don’t do a workshop in Jan I’m going to miss the boat} What I didn’t do was check-in. How does it really feel? Do I WANT to do it? Wed night, I reached out to a friend, I was struggling, and my tools weren’t cutting it. The first question she asked ... "Can you cancel it?" My soul let out a huge sigh of relief, and it felt like a 1000 lbs were lifted off my shoulders. THAT is a resounding YES One of the main principles for manifesting your dream life is to take inspired action. But how do we know if it’s inspired? If it’s not a resounding YES, then it’s NO. I’m gonna say it again IF IT’S NOT A RESOUNDING YES, THEN IT’S NO. Save this post, come back to this post anytime you need a reminder. It will make your life so much easier. Just check-in and ask, is it a resounding yes? Then listen. A resounding YES feels expansive exciting a knowing clarity It’s a NO when have to talk yourself into it there is a should you feel dread, icky, off things just don’t flow When we take action on the resounding Yes - we find magic Have you checked-in lately before making a decision? Has your soul said YES? Did you listen? What was the outcome? I’d love to hear about it. I was on a mission to find my purpose In January 2016, I decided to go to an Ashram, in the Bahamas, by myself. Hello ... It was blissful. While there, I had a mission to find my purpose. Yes, I said mission! Well, do you think I found it? Of course not! So on the last day, a bit discouraged, I decided to let it go and hope that eventually, it would find me. That's when the universe stepped in. I should've known when the Yogi's came out to bless our boat, as we were leaving, that it was going to be an good day. On this short boat ride back to Nassau, I met a fellow Canadian, we were on the same flight to Toronto. I hadn't crossed path with her while at the ashram. But the conversation flowed and made the 4 hour delay actually enjoyable. In sharing some of my story about vision boards and the amazing things I manifested, she said, "I'd sign up for a class on that and the idea was born. By the time I arrived in Toronto, I had 14 pages of inspired writing, outlining my vision board workshop. This was also the beginning of a beautiful friendship. 4 years later, we still check-in and support each other from one coast to the other (she's in Vancouver). Go follow her @layaworkshop Booking a solo trip to Ashram in the Bahamas - even when most people thought I was crazy - that’s inspired action. How to tell if it’s an Inspired Action? First step is to get aligned with your desires then.... There's an internal nudge to act It's probably uncomfortable But it also feels exciting and new Inspired action flows While ego-driven action is more hustle. I’m thinking of putting A return to the ashram on my wish list for 2021 Anyone wanna come? Give me a in the comments. #sivanandabahamas #ashramlife #inspiredaction #embodiedvision #visionboard #onlyevergrateful #createyourdreamlife #paradiseislandbahamas #satsang #inspiredtravel See more
