Hi All, First of all I want to say that I hope that you and your families are all well during this time. I am so sorry for the delay on this post...I truly was hoping we could just wait it out and we would be okay to swim by now. It breaks my heart to write this message to you all but now that lessons would have started this week it's become increasingly real that swimming lessons will not be happening for now. We, like everyone else, are required to follow the rules and re...commendations from Ontario Public Health and they have not given us permission to go ahead with lessons as of right now. I have been told by the Canadian Red Cross that we are hopeful that information regarding swimming lessons will be provided when the government gives us all information regarding Phase 2 of opening up the province. While the thought of not having swimming lessons this summer is upsetting, we know it is for the best right now to keep all of us safe. We care SO much about you and the safety of your children, just as we know you care about us and would never want to put anyone at risk. I will keep you all updated as I am updated. I plan on posting safety tips and fun activities for your kiddos to be able to print out and do and I am always here to answer any swim safety questions you may have! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us to say hello either - we miss you all so much!! Stay safe!

Hi allHappy March! Sorry for not posting sooner but it’s been a crazy winter/start to 2020! I now have a ‘big kid job’ in Toronto (working at a not for profit just as I had hoped!!) and have ‘left the nest’ (just bought & moved into my own house not too far away!!) But don’t fear, Annika’s Swimming Lessons WILL be running again this year! Sadly, Firen is off being an adult and I will only be popping over every once and a while to manage things. Not to worry though - this ...year, lessons will be taught by Amber and Elise with another new guard or two on the way! Registration will be opening around the end of April/early May and I will update the page when the specific date is set. Thank you all for all your love and support over the years. When I started Annika’s Swimming Lessons in 2014, I never imagined I would meet and teach so many amazing families! It’ll be strange not being in the pool this summer with you and your little ones and it’ll also be very strange to not have one piece tan lines until March! Happy Spring, everyone! - Annika

We greatly appreciate that you trust us to teach both you and your children the valuable life lesson of swimming.
