I get the question in most every inquiry when booking a hunt, what’s your success rate? I know they are looking for the rate of harvest per hunter but I don’t see it should be looked at it that way. No, this year has not ended with every hunter harvesting a bear but yet every hunter went home with a new experience and appreciation of learning something new. Isn’t that what Guiding is really about?

So anyone that’s been following I have a bear nicknamed Homer. He was the target for me for the last 4-5 years and for clients last year. This bear learns very ...quickly when hunters are in the stand and switch’s to night feeding. I decided to blow up one of the trail cam pics so I could start visualizing his target zone.
