The skirt on this dress had to be shortened, and taken in, plus, putting a corset back into it, since she really, really wanted a corset , lol..

This lovely young lady was my July 22 bride. Her wedding was like many , postponed from last year. They kept the date since it was special for them.

And this is what was produced from that long gown. The back not shown, had a corset back put in as well. The trim on the shawl, matched brides shoes perfectly.

So thought I would put up some gowns I worked on from a few years back. This lovely gown had a major transformation. All because the bride wanted to show her lovely saton purple shoes.

Just a few more to show what I have been up too. Yet the closet door is still full, and all are needed for August.

As promised, just a few pic's of the dresses I have been working on this past spring summer. I have in house still 6 bridesmaid gowns, 2 wedding gowns to be altered, 1 waiting for final fitting with the veil and headpiece, 1 non prom for a final fitting, 1 non prom for alterations. And tomorrow, have a dress coming in for a fitting. It's not slowing down. Oh yes also making masks, and other items for a lady who has ALS. Keep healthy and safe everyone.

I would like to pass on to the 2019-2020 Grad's a Congrat's. I have had the opportunity to work on some lovely prom/non prom/ grad dresses the last few weeks. A big thanks to Crazy Beautiful Dresses who have passed my name on these lovely ladies. It was a pleasure to help the girls fitting into their gowns this year. Some had time to plan, where others were given short warning that things were happening, thus need a (the) dress, and need it fitting perfectly. We got it done for the year, and look forward to many years to come. It now starts (short notice) weddings season, lol. I'm ready for it, {I think}. I will be posting a few pictures I have been storing up of the dresses I had worked on this year. That includes a few weddings . Have a good summer everyone.

Hi everyone, my system kept telling me it's been to long since I said anything. So here goes. With the epidemic ongoing, it's difficult to carry on with appointments. But I shall do my best. Trying to my home healthy and yet being courteous to my clients is a challenge. So, there I was working on a gown today, and my fav machine broke. So I will be pulling out an old faithful and seeing if I can accomplish anything tomorrow. Was not a fun day with also having vehicle breaking down as well. Oh, not a good day at all. I have ordered the part to fix the machine but don't know when it will arrive, since coming from the states. In the mean time, I will continue on with my sewing if the old machines allow. Take care everyone, be safe, do what we are suppose to do to get thru this crazy terrible time. Cheers
