The thing I enjoy most about acting is the variety. No two days are alike. For instance, today my audition required me to lip-sync "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol.

Performing life has been slow for all of us artists, but there are still opportunities if we make them! I just completed a self-tape audition, and not your usual type: We're at the lake for a quiet, "bubbled" Christmas holiday. Our water system is frozen solid, so I just did the tape anyway...no makeup, the best I could do with dry shampoo, cottage comfy clothes, and my hubby as cameraman. Then over an hour to upload a 1.5 minute film clip using phone data. No excuses, actor friends! When you agent gets you an audition, do your best with what you have. If I book it, or if I don't, I know I did my job today.
