Objectives of Phase I: -Develop a minimum viable product that gets just enough core features for it to function. -Quickly get feedback from customers and improve the product without having to invest a lot of time or money that could potentially go to waste. -Collect and systemize as much as possible data for project phases. -Get ready to make pitch presentations for the potential investors Under direct supervision and instruction of the Product Manager / Scrum Master and Technical Advisor, the Front-end Developer is overall responsible for implementing visual and interactive elements that users engage with through their web browser when using a web application and shall have the following duties and responsibilities: -Develops user-interface features; -Write efficient, clean, robust, well documented, mature, readable and reusable code while adhering to coding standards; -Develop and maintain technical project documentation; -Ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs; -Assures that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end; -Development of Selenium UI tests; -Works closely with the Product Manager and Back-end Developer -Collaborates with other team members and stakeholders Skills and Qualifications: -3+ years of front-end software development experience with writing to latest standards-compliant HTML5, CSS2, and JavaScript; -Good understanding and workng knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as jQuery, Angular, ReactJS, VueJS, etc.; -Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS -Good understanding and practcal experence in asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX; -Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus; -Experience in building rich, mobile-first and responsive front-end solutons; -Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them; -Proficient understanding and working knowledge with GitHub; -Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them; -Experience with web servers (Nginx/Apache) and understanding Linux bash scripting is a bonus; -Experience integrating with other 3rd party services and out of the box plugins; -Ability to work independently and self-manage, being mindful of deadlines, detail-oriented; -Ability to learn new things fast and must excel in a fast-paced, agile work environment; -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debugging, analyzing logs; -Ability to communicate in a clear manner to non-technical colleagues; -Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude.
