PLEASE, we appeal to all: do not leave donations outside the Blue Bin....OR at the Shop. The volunteers cannot be responsible for bags and boxes left. And, the risk is that it may be discarded, as well as it may invite vandalism. Our volunteers are not available for pickups and distribution during this Code Red Lockdown. Please be respectful. This is just temporary. Thank you kindly.
PLEASE DO NOT drop off donations, at any time, outside the Shop Doors OR outside the Blue Bin. Especially with the COVID Closure at this time. The landlord has restrictions. The volunteers are required to maintain the sidewalk and frontage be kept clear, and especially during the closure and the construction. Any items left may be discarded. Thank you.

Some updated photos 0ctober 2020...
It has been reported that on the evenin of Tuesay October 13 at 10:00PM, a man in a Black 4 door forerunner with no front bumper was filling his truck with everything out of our Blue Donation Bin. What he didn't want he placed outside the box, when some people walked by he took off with his passenger, then returned again. We checked the bin this morning at 11:00, and, all looked OK. Bin is emptied usually 4 times a week and is always full. No damages. This is theft. The bin has been vandalized in the past. It has been reported tot hr Springfield Police Services and the COPP. THANK YOU to the citizen who reputed it to us. We, volunteers take every effort to keep and maintain donations in a respectful manner. If anyone ever notices something like this please let us know. Thank you.
Just checked with Springfield Chamber of Commerce: Midnight Madness is cancelled this year. No surprise, but still sad. FYI
Greetings, This is a gentle reminder: please, please do not toss clothing, shoes, etc items loosely in the Blue Bin. Materials must be bagged (tied) and/or boxed securely. The signage is clearly stated and posted for all to act accordingly. We find much loose clothing, shoes, materials, unclean items and sometimes garbage tossed in. This is very difficult to handle, as well as disrespectful to the other donors, AND, to the volunteers. It causes much additional work, and is not in following COVID health regulations. Glass and dishware is to be clearly marked, and not in bags, much breakage occurs, then needs to be thrown to the garbage. Kindly be respectful to other donors and to the volunteers. Thank you, Thank you for all your donations. "Paying it forward to the kids and families of the communities in the RM of Springfield".
