These (not) Golden Hour shoots are fun because we limit ourselves. With limitation comes creativity. One mic, one shot, raw artist performance. With it getting darker earlier we have sort of been forced to include lighting to some capacity but still trying to keep those limitations present (1 light panel, battery powered) because it forces me as the filmmaker to get creative on how to create a mood out of practically nothing, with a limited timeframe (cause batteries apparent...ly like to die quickly in the cold). .
