Had a wonderful time this week at the Teaching in Focus Conference. The best teachers are those who strive to continuously learn (and recognizing we are all in process) Those who understand to teach is to learn. Learning to teach, teaching to learn.
One of the most important moments of my tenure so far was attending the rally for education. I imagine this to be just the prelude to what is to come.
To hear my thoughts on the proposed cuts to education here is a Podcast I did with the Toronto Family Show. It goes to the full 32 minutes (so dont mind the music interludes). https://www.stitcher.com/po/toronto-family-show/e/59854585
