MEAL PREP TIP! Struggling with meal prep like most of us? Try this super simple meal prep hack! Cook some chicken breast in a slow cooker but keep it simple so you can add it to any dish. If you want to take it up a notch, try making same mexican shredded chicken with some of the chicken breast. Ingredient quantities vary depending on taste. Adjust to your own preferences. ... Ingredients in the slow cooker: - Salt - Pepper - Garlic powder - Onion powder - Paprika - Water or broth Put all seasonings on chicken, cover with water or broth, and cook on high for 3-4 hours. Now you have some chicken you can add to salads, sandwiches, pasta, and so on! Ingredients for mexican chicken: - Cumin - Italian seasoning - Salt - Pepper - Paprika - Lime juice - Red onion - Garlic - Chilli flakes - Tomato sauce (Tomato passata was used in the video) - Tomato paste Saute garlic and onions in olive oil until soft. Add the remaining ingredients, including the shredded slow cooker chicken. Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes over medium-low heat. This chicken is excellent in burrito bowls, tacos, and so much more. Stay tuned for later this week with a recipe you can add it to!
