Hey everyone coach Zoey here with a trainer tip! Training is not always pretty! What I mean by this is training is hard. If you want to see changes in your body, in your life, in anything it’s going to be hard but it WILL be worth it. And it WILL work! ... Training until failure is one of the best ways to challenge your body. This means repeating an exercise to the point of momentary muscle failure, I.e. the point where the neuromuscular system can no longer produce adequate force to overcome a specific workload, current medical diagnosis and treatment stats that training to failure is necessary for maximal hypertrophic response. By doing as many reps as possible with a given weight, you can create an enormous stimulus for growth. In the below video I am in my last set of pistol squats! (3/3 sets) My first two sets I was able to complete some reps and this last set I was not able to. But that’s is totally okay! Because I know I worked my muscles as hard as I could and next time. I will be able to complete more!! This is an example of working until failure! Some ways to achieve working until failure is increasing rep range, increasing weight, or trying a new movement you don’t generally do. (Such as pistol squats) *Remember you can always stop in with any of the trainers and ask us any questions you have. We are here for you! **

Happy Tuesday all!! For today’s Trainer Tip Tuesday we have: Around The World! ... Here’s how: grab a weight plate and hold it with both hands stand with your feet slightly wider than your hips, with straight legs, but don’t lock the knees! lift the weight up overhead and hold it behind your head(this is the resting position) Rotate the weight to your right by lifting your left arm up overhead bring the weight as far as you can, around the right side, then slowly return to the resting position repeat the motion again, but this time move the weight to your left side as far as you can. Then repeat as desired!
