What’s in the air at Algonquin Outfitters? At some stores, it could be campfire smoke, on occasion. But, there’s also something else, something less aromatic but much sweeter. Even when it’s not Valentine’s Day, it can often be said that love is in the air! https://algonquinoutfitters.com/thats-not-woodsmoke/

We are anticipating a provincial announcement that could allow Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area to reopen starting Wednesday, February 17th. Once they get the go-ahead to let the fun begin, they are planning to be open from 9 am to 9 pm Wednesday to Saturday, and 9 am to 4 pm Sunday and Monday. They’ve added Wednesday as an extra operating day to make up for a few days of missed winter fun. Hidden Valley is going to keep the fun going just as long as mother nature allows, so ...plan on some April skiing this year! As you can see from this recent picture, the slopes are being prepped to have the best possible reopening conditions. Mother nature has been doing her part too, so expect some excellent conditions. They ask that all of their members, guests and ski or snowboard enthusiasts respect the COVID precautions so that Hidden Valley is a safe place to play. I know I'm looking forward to being able to get outside and enjoy some local fun, and I'm sure you are too. https://skihiddenvalley.ca/ Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area
