Correction to the previous post: The CRA has just announced, due to an error in a CRA communication the filing deadline has been extended to May 5. The deadline for income tax filing is up in 2 days (April 30). Unless you are self-employed, in which case your deadline is June 15. If you think you may be owing tax this year, however, this balance is due April 30th. Any outstanding tax will be subject to late interest after this date.
