Every now and then, I still have friends asking me - why are you supporting the Alberta Party? What do you stand for? What does it mean to be a centrist? It mea...ns that we are passionate about people - all people, and their ability to achieve the success they envision. We fundamentally believe that the best ideas come forward when you hear all perspectives. We will make decisions based on facts and evidence, and work with others to find creative and practical solutions. Being centrist, we aren’t just a party that’s between the left and the right. We’re much much more. We deeply believe in raising the bar so we can be better role models for the next generation. In politics, we are not dogmatic or ideological. We will support good ideas, no matter where they come from. Within our party, we will allow our MLAs to have free votes, to truly represent your needs. We see the future of Alberta tied to innovation and technology in a diversified economy steeped in lifelong learning. We see government and public service as conduits for delivering the highest level of services to all Albertans while retaining a respect for the taxpayer. Our Alberta will continue its long tradition of free enterprise and entrepreneurial spirit to ensure that we will continue to be a beacon of opportunity. That is the Alberta Party.
