From the moment we entered and were greeted by the friendly reception to our checkout, we were treated like VIP's. The room itself was first class...king size bed, spacious room and wonderful bathroom with a massage shower and television. The room was tastefully decorated and included... all the amenities we needed plus it was very clean and comfy. We had the escape packages for 2 days ( the first I had won a competition by the hotel) With the package you get welcome drinks, complimentary breakfast, a $50 food credit and choice of an activity. We chose the $30 mall card with 2 movie passes and for our other day we chose the Romero Distillery rum tour which we also highly recommend. The Tonic restaurant which is located in the hotel was exceptional also. The staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. We recommend the fish and chips and the beef dip. Overall, a superb trip. Whether you are going for a night, a romantic break or a longer stay to explore the city, definitely consider Applause. See more
