Six years ago I started April Moon Books because I wanted to share stories and, most importantly, give emerging and established authors a chance to get their voices heard. I always treated my authors with respect and fairness, and I thank them all for supporting my venture. I also want to thank all the readers and reviewers who have been so kind in their comments about our books. April Moon is on a prolonged hiatus at the moment while I deal with some dilapidating health issues, but I still have plans for the future, so don’t give up on us just yet! Until then, support small (and micro) presses - cheers, Neil
***summer reading alert*** The month of August will see Bond Unknown go on sale again - we have a limited number of reprints available, so if you missed this unique title last year, this will be your second and final chance. Details to be released end of July.
It's going to be a little quiet here on the dark side of the moon until the summer - but please stick around, we have such sights to show you. Until then, why not grab a little something from our back catalogue to keep the spring rains off. We'd also appreciate a review - whether you love or hate our books :) As a navigator once told us, "The reviews must flow..."
This weekend will be the last mailing session of the year for Bond Unknown, after that, the next mailing will take place in mid January. Thank you to everyone who purchased the book, we ran out of signed cards and have just taken delivery of a new set of interior illustration cards. They were originally limited to the first 80 orders, but it’s Xmas and we are giddy with good cheer. If you read the book, please leave a review or post about it - we’d love to know what you think!
Huge congratulations to one of the April Moon family, Christine Morgan, who has received some well deserved recognition for her writing this year - good luck, Christine!
Christine Morgan appears in a number of our anthologies, and this is our favourite of her novels. That said, you should check out her catalogue that ranges from extreme splatter to Vikings via horror smut. Buy some! "Think Spring Break, only instead of a beach house, it’s a lakehouse, but the lakehouse IS IN FUCKIN’ HELL, that’s right, a chunk of Hell that’s been upheaved and pushed up into our pretty little worldsunny Florida, no less! - Edward Lee (Splatterpunk god)

To celebrate five years in the biz, we have permanently lowered the price of our five Short Sharp Shock anthologies to $10. Featuring many of today's top short fiction writers, these books have something for everyone! https://www.aprilmoonbooks.com/
Five Years ago, April Moon Books dared dip its toe in the murky waters of indie publishing. Eleven books later, we are very proud of what we have achieved, and we are looking forward to the future. There will be some celebratory offers during the next few weeks - keep an eye out for them, and thanks for joining us on the ride! www.aprilmoonbooks.com
The first Bond Unknown shipment is going out soon. If you want a copy of the book, you have two weeks left! www.aprilmoonbooks.com
"Bond Unknown is a glorious triumph, both for April Moons Books and for authors William Meikle and Edward M. Erdelac. Editor Neil Baker must be lauded for bringing together two skilled authors who have such innate understanding of both the Bond canon and the nature of Lovecraftian horror and combining their stories with the peerless illustrations of Wayne M. Miller and Mark Maddox." scifiandfantasyreviewer.wordpress.com BOND UNKNOWN - available for one month only. https://www.aprilmoonbooks.com/bond-unknown
A glowing review for Bond Unknown. We are receiving a second, limited number, print run at the beginning of August - if you missed out last year, this is your last chance! Go to www.aprilmoonbooks.com for details.
