Hey hey hey !!! So, this might be a bit of a long post but PLEASE read through so we are all on the same page with protocol!!!! So word on the street is we are back to work on Wednesday June 2nd!!! ... Whoohoooo!!! I’m super excited to get back to seeing all my amazing clients BUT please bare with me as I try to return each and every call, fb message and text ... I will do this as quickly as possible so we are all ready to go next week and things run as smoothly as possible. Same rules apply as before!!! -1st and foremost- ( this one is super important files) if you have ANY symptoms PLEASE reschedule your appt -Only 1 person at a time in my salon - As I have no separate waiting area you will either have to wait in your vehicle or outside in the seating provided ( this will be the time to get enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean, free with each service ) you are welcome Note: as much as I would love to have everyone roam our property I have to ask you stay in the designated area outside as this is our home and I need to keep mine as well as your families safe.. my apologies for the families with kiddos, I realize that might be asking a lot and I am so so sorry but I have to keep with the rules .. ya, I know .. I’m a meany. -PLEASE come 5 mins before your scheduled appt so I can try to stay on time and be fair to clients keeping to their appt schedules - you will need to sign the forms provided - you MUST wear a mask!!! ( some day soon I hope to see all your pearly whites ) but until then sport you’re favourite masks!! - lastly , I just want to say how excited I am to be seeing you all again! I know , I already said I was excited... but I can’t help but say it again... covid has been and is hard, really really hard but we are on the upside now. Let’s keep doing what we need to do so we can look back on this past year plus and take the positive from it ... we can do hard things!!!! Wash your hands, wear your mask and please , please be kind!!! See ya’ll soon

Just a reminder to all my clients.... eyebrow waxing and tinting is now allowed... upper lip is not as of yet. If your already booked with other services and want the tint or wax at that time just let me know.

Just want my clients to know I’m working on what I can now to be prepared when the time comes to re-open again. ( I have NOT started taking appts yet... I will make another post when I do) Please be patient with me when the time comes , I’ll be doing my best to accommodate everyone as quickly as I possibly can ... hope you are all staying safe

So, I’m made the decision to close as of the end of the day today ‘ march 18, and see how this progresses over the coming weeks. The safety of my family and clients come first and foremost. My hope is if we all do our part we can slow this before it gets out of hand any more than it is. Being self employed , this wasn’t an easy decision but I feel it’s the right one for now. ... As I follow the news and see how this unfolds I will post on fb to let everyone know when I will reopen again. Sorry for the inconvenience , Stay safe everyone.

To my clients: In light of covid 19, I am asking clients if you have traveled outside NS ( sorry this has just changed from outside Canada ) to please reschedule your appointment if it falls within a 14 day quarantine period. ... If you exhibit signs of flu, cough, cold, general feeling of unwell PLEASE do NOT come to your appointment, reschedule. My business is out of my home and we have close family members with compromised immune systems which adds to the level of concern. My plan for now is to work this week and I will re assess daily, things are changing by the minute so I will make my decision based accordingly unless the cosmetology association makes it for me. If anyone should have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am taking all necessary sanitation and disinfecting measures to ensure you and myself are protected. Some of the new rules will be; ... -Only one client at a time will be allowed in the salon. There will no longer be a waiting area. -You must wait in your vehicle and I will call you when it is time for your appointment or I’ll wave you in. -Hand sanitizer will be provided as you walk in. - If your being dropped off please be sure your drive is on time to pick you back up after your appt so I can stay on schedule. -If your child is not booked with an appt they should not be with you . -I ask that you try to be on time so this hopefully will run smoother .(so enjoy the views of the ocean while your waiting in your car ) -Everything needs to sanitized between each client which may result in longer wait times. - Since I’m not set up with with debit I ask if you can , come with the right amt or chq if possible. The less handling of money the better -Masks are mandatory for all clients including children. If you do not have one, you will be provided one at a minimal cost. Please DO NOT enter without a mask. -While booking an appointment you will need to answer a questionnaire and again prior to entering the salon. -My new price will change to reflect the many new safety adjustments and protocols I must follow. I have not raised my prices in 8 years. I think I’ve reached everyone that was either booked before we were mandated to close or have left messages. If you did not hear from me please leave me a message and I’ll be in touch with an appt time. I hope this helps give everyone a bit of a heads up as to what will be expected in the coming mths. As many of you have heard, or read, our industry has been given the okay to resume operations effective June 5th. Last week I released initial guidelines and where I see myself going forward. Please note I'll be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays only. I'll be starting back to work on my new schedule June 9th as some of my supplies haven’t arrived yet. Today I’m trying to tackle my list of call backs. If you have not heard from me by 5 pm today please FB message, text ...or call and leave a voice mail as to what service you want to book and if there is a certain time/ day to make the booking process smoother . I’ll do my best to accommodate everyone. Please, be patient with me. I will be updating clients on the new protocols at time of booking but you can also read last weeks post as well. New guidelines released last night have indicated that FACIAL WAXING will not be permitted in the early stages of opening. I will update you when that has changed. This is a very overwhelming time, alot coming at us right now. Please I ask that you be patient and would appreciate your understanding. Thank you so much!
