As the last weekend of July approaches, our 2nd Session has come to a close. We are so happy for all of our swimmers and so incredibly proud of all the improvements they have made over the past 2 weeks! We hope you all have an incredible summer, and if you are coming back for another session, we look forward to seeing you soon! Session 3 begins on July 29th! We are very excited to see some familiar faces, as well as make some new friends! See you soon!

Our last day of Session 1 has come to close and we are so proud of all of our swimmers who are finishing their lessons today! We hope you all had as much fun as we did? Session 2 officially begins on Monday, July 15th and we look forward to seeing some familiar faces, as well as meeting our new swimmers!

A special congratulations goes out to our Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid Candidates who completed their course yesterday! This year we have had more Bronze Medallion graduates than all of our previous years combined! It allowed us to open up a full other session specifically for Bronze Classes, so thank you! A lot of hard work went into getting their certifications and they should all be incredibly proud of their success!

Last but not least: our final member of our team is AquaLife's resident goofball: Connor! Founding the AquaLife Swim School in the Spring of 2015, Connor has dedicated every summer to providing a fun and educational experience for children and parents alike. Moving into his 5th season, Connor has moved into a more managerial role this season, but don't expect that to keep him away, as he will be dropping in every now and again to catch up. Connor has over 5 years of experienc...e in Aquatic Instruction, as well as over 7 years of experience in various athletic coaching positions. Fun fact: there are some AquaLife Students that Connor has been coaching for almost 8 years between swimming and hockey! Growing up in Aurora, Connor was involved in a variety of athletics, including rep hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and football. Currently, Connor is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate degree from Queen's University in Kingston, ON.

Keeping in the tradition of staff introductions, we present the girl who needs none! Coming back for her 3rd year as a part of the AquaLife Team is Ursula! Ursula is an experienced instructor with over 6 years of experience across all aquatic programs and organizations. She joined our team back in 2017 and has moved into a management role, becoming the Head Instructor for AquaLife, as well as coordinating the majority of our Lifesaving and Lifeguarding Operations. Growing up,... Ursula was involved with athletics, specifically with the Town of Aurora Aquatics as well as the IEM Spartans Basketball Team. Ursula is currently studying Arts at Queen's University, with the intention of attending Law School in the future, she is writing her LSAT in a few weeks so everyone wish her luck!

Hi Everyone! With the summer quickly approaching, we thought now would be a good time to introduce some of our team members for the 2019 Summer Season, starting with our newest instructor: Heidi! Heidi has over than 2 years of experience in Aquatic Instruction, and has been working as a coach across various sports since 2015.... Heidi is presently studying Science at the Bachelor level at Queen's University, and has been heavily involved in sports and athletics, including several years with the IEM Spartans Rep Basketball Team. If she looks or sounds familiar, it may be because she's the younger (but taller?) sister of Ursula! Stay tuned to meet the rest of our team!

With a wet and wild Friday, our first week of Session 4 has come to a close! All of our swimmers did an amazing job coming to swim in the rain today! Our final week of the AquaLife 2018 season starts on Monday. We hope you all have an incredible weekend and we look forward to seeing you all come Monday.

Yet another incredible week here at the AquaLife Swim School, as our 3rd session has come to a close. Such amazing times were had over the past few weeks and we are so proud of all our swimmers who are finished their lessons! Our 4th and final session of the summer begins on Monday, August 13th! The first week of session 3 has flown by and we are having an incredible time here at the AquaLife Swim School! One of our Bronze Star candidates was learning the basics of CPR this week! However, with his brother busy in the pool, we had to be a little creative with creating a victim! Luckily he was able to step out near the end to provide a slightly more "realistic" experience! :D For all our Session 3 swimmers, we hope you have an amazing weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday!
