Let's talk Mental Health and Self care today. Most of us are now on week 4 of self isolation and I know that some of you are really starting to really struggle on a day to day basis in many ways. Some may be off work completely, others are working from home now and have become sedentary, others have family around you constantly and are having difficulty finding your much needed "you" time. The following suggestions have really been helping me keep my head during these unpr...ecedented times. I hope that they can help you too! 1. Establish a routine Even if it's basic! Something as simple as waking up at the same time, scheduling time to be productive in any way or form (work, new skill/ project, education, etc), time for health and wellness activities and schedule your bed time. 2. Continue to build and work on your relationships Relationships are integral to our everyday lives, we are social beings! So keep fostering, building and repairing those relationships with those people in your life! 3. Focus on your health and wellness On the daily try to move even if it's just a 30 min walk, do some sort of exercise outside of walking, try to develop some healthy habits, eat something green, and try to get some sun! 4. Know that you're not in this alone Use your outlets!
