Hello Aquarium Society of Winnipeg (ASW) friends and followers. For your information, Aquarium Society of Winnipeg (ASW) monthly meetings are cancelled until further notice. We will send out email blasts and social media posts when we resume normal event schedules. As the Aquarium Society of Winnipeg (ASW) is not having any monthly meetings or incurring any expenses (no room rentals, no speaker costs, etc.) All current status paid memberships will be extended for one (1) yea...r. e.g. If your membership was to expire in May 2020, it will now expire in May 2021. A huge THANK YOU to all of those who are providing services and support to help our Manitoba communities get through these tough days: healthcare workers, first responders, grocery attendants and all of the others who are deemed "essential service". Stay safe everyone.

IMPORTANT NEWS: With extreme disappointment, we regret to inform our members that the monthly club meeting for Sunday, March 15, 2020, has been CANCELLED. Following the public trends surrounding mass gatherings and the Covid-19 pandemic, we will err on the side of caution and cancel our Bowl Show and the meeting as a whole. We look forward to gathering in APRIL, based on how the situations play out at that time. We apologize for any inconvenience this 72-hour cancellation notice causes our members. Better safe, than sorry!

Hello, Aquarium Society of Winnipeg (ASW) members and followers. Did you forget about this weekend's upcoming monthly meeting? Sunday March 15, 2020. St. John's-Ravenscourt School (SJR) as per usual, and 1:00pm to 4:00pm, as per usual. In lieu of a guest speaker, we will be bringing back our "Getting Your Fins Wet - BOWL SHOW" :)... This meeting will be our Bowl Show. You can enter any fish that is 4" (four inches) and under. As a bonus for this Bowl Show, instead of paying a fee to enter your fish into the show, the Aquarium Society of Winnipeg (ASW) will be PAYING YOU!! Each entry will qualify for $2.00 ASW Auction Bucks (max $10 per ASW member).
