February is Therapeutic Recreation Month. There are SO many amazing aspects to my job that I love but one of my favourites is helping others accomplish the goals they worked so hard to achieve. This is just one amazing success story that caught my eye. With the right help and support there will always be the possibilities

The great thing about being in the water - is anyone can do it! It doesn’t matter what you look like it’s how the water makes you feel.

My little one is almost a year and a half and very much a waterbaby!! He could not get enough running and jumping in. The Maple Ridge pool was so quiet with the reduced number of people allowed to swim at a time, it was so nice to have so much space to swim, play and feel safe. The Maple Ridge pool will begin to open up swim sessions during the week starting Dec 21. Hopefully this will continue into the New Year. I am hoping to have more availability to swim in the new year on sundays, Wednesday’s and Thursdays. Feel free to message me if you have questions about my services.

It’s quite the attire on a rainy Thursday morning but he enjoyed pulling everything out of my swim bag and refused to take my swim cap off I’m excited I got to pull out my swim bag and start some prep work on resuming some swim therapy sessions!
