Are you an Arab woman, living in Waterloo region? Have you recently given birth, or are you pregnant? "Mother-to-Mother" is a new project by The Arab Women of Waterloo Region for local Arab women who have given birth between July 1st2020 and now, or are due in November. The program will connect the mothers with experienced Arab mothers in the community. What you will gain: You will learn about giving birth in Canada, connecting to your baby and different ways to look aft...er yourself. The program also will offer grocery gift cards, useful information about self-care, depression, community resources for mothers and babies, parenting - a fun social gathering with lunch or dinner (Covid permitting) - build friendships and connections Deadline for registration is Tuesday, October 6th.
