Hey guys! My name is Aralyn. I wanted to introduce myself because i’ve been seeing so many new faces on Instagram and so many new faces in the salon. I wanted to tell you a little bit about the salon and who I am. I have been in the hair industry for 8 years now and I’ve known I wanted to do hair since I was in high school. I had THE biggest hair in small town I grew up in. When I say big....I mean BIG. Embarrassingly big. If you know you know. I started... out by doing the work experience program in high school and then after I graduated I moved to Edmonton and became a salon receptionist to get my foot in the door. I went to MC college and then the rest is history. My favourite thing about being a hairstylist is by far the relationships you build with your clients and just making people feel good about themselves. Majority of my clients have been seeing me for many years and I look at them like my family. I opened up my downtown salon about a year and a half ago. It is a 2 chair studio located in SUNDAYS, in the Oliver area. It is very white, earthy, clean and full of plants. I work alongside a very talented hairstylist named Sierra. We offer a wide variety of services, from cuts and colours, extensions, treatments, styles, etc. Education is very important to me and we both continuously take educational classes when we are not behind the chair. Covid-19 has made travelling for classes impossible & there’s very little in house education. We still keep busy watching webinars, videos & listening to podcasts. We strive to make every client that sits in our chairs feel beautiful and 100% comfortable with us.
