Another saga of anti Black racism by police. And he was actually trying to assist police by reporting what he saw. But all they was a Black man who must be the one they were looking for. The justice system demonstrates yet again thst racialized people are not safe, even when trying to cooperate. If he does proceed with a lawsuit, it looks like a case for negligent police investigation, assault and battery, wrongful imprisonment and possibly a number of other claims.
