Our last artist feature this year is on @gelheureux , a Montreal based artist whose multifaceted "slow art" merges painting, illustration, installation, ecological work, and writing. Ge minimizes environmental harm in her studio by eliminating any dependence on large suppliers and adapting her artistic practice to the materials that are ava...ilable locally at the time of creation. The mediums she uses are mostly home-made, using raw materials obtained in an thoughtful and sustainable manner. Let's all make it a goal in 2021 to support local businesses, suppliers and artisans as much as possible in our creative practice.
