Generator safety, recent occurence. -Don't run your generators in a garage/shed etc. -Use a proper/safe transfer switch.... So we sold many of these generators this fall, and only got a call back to one non-start/stall issue. A few troubleshooting steps over the phone didn't remedy the situation, so we made a trip back to the customers home. Turns out, they were trying to run it in their shed (which never occured to me to ask), with the door open, which is a no-no! Evidently, it was starting but stalling a few seconds later due to carbon monoxide detection. We rolled it outside and started it and it ran perfectly, and we did a trial run running his house, and everything worked great. Long story short, don't run your generators inside, folks! It has become such a common problem/occurence that many generators even have detection built in to protect against this unsafe practice, as does this Champion Generator.

Just got a very excited message (I can't repeat the words on here) from a commercial customer that we installed solar panels for this summer saying their light bill went from $1500 in August-September last year, to $222 this year. Those are the kind of calls we like to get! Here's a photo of us stopping by one day to see how many amps the system was making. 143 amps would be the equivalent of roughly 7 clothes dryers or ovens running, to try to put it in perspective.
