This online auction was a success thanks to you or your business! We had numerous auction items that were all different. Last but not least - to our volunteer board of directors who go above and beyond for the Arcola Daycare Centre. What better way to spend a cold, cold day than having a BEACH DAY! We had fun wearing our sandals, shorts, bathing suits, tank tops, sun hats, sunglasses and dresses today! We even enjoyed a picnic lunch in our preschool play rooms!

Our pizza fundraiser is complete! Just under 650 pizzas were sold and assembled this evening. If you have not gotten your pizza delivered yet.... you should by tomorrow! Thank-you to everyone who supported us and purchased a pizza! ... Thank-you to our casual and full time families for selling, assembling & delivering! Special thanks to Shelley Slykhuis (daycare grandma) for going above and beyond grandma duties and helping us out tremendously! She has pizza making down to a tee and we are grateful for your help!

We are beyond excited to have our rubber pit complete & monkey bar dome back in place! Thanks to DJ Construction (Duane Hilsop) for building our frame and Robin at the Arcola Coop for delivering the rubber! If you attended our Car Wash this summer - the money donated was put towards this rubber pit! Thank you!

Thanks to DH Construction (Duane Hislop) and his crew for the job well done.... We now have new siding & a new back deck. This is why we fundraise! The money we raise from fundraisers goes directly towards renovations to make Arcola Daycare the best place it can be. We strive for a safe, aesthetically pleasing home-like environment for our children to attend to each day. Thank-you for your continued support.

Yoga with Nicole Shirley Child friendly Work Out Classes with Coach Jessica Dangstorp Dance classes with Emma Lees Thank-you to these four wonderful ladies for teaching us new life long skills, for promoting being active and best of all having fun with us!

Shout out to Coach Jessica Dangstorp for our 3rd work out class this summer! We are sad our last class is Friday. Thanks for keeping us active all while having fun!

Thanks to Sasktel for the grant money we received we were able to rent bouncers for the morning for the children and enjoy lunch from Buddys Pub!

Our car wash was a success! We got wet, muddy & had a lot of fun! $300 was donated and will be used for updates in our back play yard! THANK-YOU to every individual who stopped in to get their vehicle washed and THANK-YOU to the individuals who could not come but donated anyways! ...

Tomorrow is the big day! Stop on by between 10-1 to make our childrens day! **For our childrens safety please only one car in the parking lot at a time. We will have signs posted where to enter and where to exit along with a seating area to enjoy while we scrub your car!

We fundraise strictly for renos to update our building. Our goal is to provide a safe, aesthetically pleasing home-like environment for our children to attend each and every day. We had a special visit this afternoon from Clyde the miniature pony! Thank you Rhonda & Jeremy Garling for brightening our day!

May is an important month in the Early Childhood Education field. Its a month to appreciate your childs educators and give thanks to them. May 13th is the day to fully celebrate! Its Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day! Shout out to all our fellow ECEs near and far for providing the best care possible! As educators....... -We provide daily developmentally appropriate learning activities to help each child master lifelong skills! -We nurture, provide love, snuggles, hugs & high fives! -We wipe noses and tears, help with potty training and encourage healthy eating habits! -We interact, ask questions & expand on each childs learning opportunities! -We provide a safe, secure, aesthetically pleasing home-like environment for our children to attend each day! -We love to be silly, get messy, sing songs, play games, laugh, read stories, and are always at the childs level! -We motivate and teach each child to be who they want to be! -We make each child feel loved, important and valued! -We encourage children to make their own choices & learn at their own pace. -We are positive role models! -We continue our learning by keeping our First Aid/CPR up to date, continue Early Childhood Education classes and attend Professional Development Opportunities when we are able to. Ultimately we are there for your child/ren and give them whatever they need to feel loved, safe and secure and help foster their growth and development! WE ARE EDUCATORSNOT BABYSITTERS!

Today I stopped in at Fireside Furniture and was spoiled with a large gift basket for the Arcola Daycare staff! We are already feeling the love for Early Childhood Educator appreciation month! Thank you Carlie Pasichnuk for spoiling the staff at the daycare!

MAY IS EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH! MAY 13TH IS EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION DAY! SHOUT OUT TO ALL OUR FELLOW EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS NEAR AND FAR! We are proud of our staff at Arcola Daycare Inc. and need to give thanks to them for all they do!... Unfortunately due to COVID 19 - many staff are currently laid off. We miss them dearly and cant wait for them to be back at work when the time is right! The work these individuals do each day is very challenging but rewarding! It takes patience and a special person to be an early childhood educator and all of our staff have what it takes!

Thanks to the Town of Arcola & the Sask Lotteries grant we were able to purchase this monkey bar dome for our back play yard a few months ago! We finally got it set up thanks to a daycare dad - Andrew Sararas and the kids and staff are loving it!

Due to obvious reasons our AGM will be postponed! We will we set a new date when the pandemic is over!
