My kids are headed back to in-school learning today; I have to admit that this school year feels like a roller coaster, and once again, I have mixed emotions. So I hugged them a little tighter and sent them on their way. We have been talking a lot over the past couple of weeks about how hard this time has been. It's hard to miss school, miss your sports and activities and miss those that you love. Did you know that during the pandemic, it is estimated that 97% of kids are n...ot getting the recommended amount of daily activity? All three of my youngest kids play sports; two are hockey players, the other is a swimmer and all love school sports. Right now, without any of that going on, as a family, we focus on getting movement in wherever we can, like a walk with the dog, a toboggan, a skate outside, a hike and a little Pilates.
