It's Happening...by popular demand we will be hosting one last final Arctic Market for 2020 this Saturday, December 19th from 11am to 2pm inside the Community Hall of the Midnight Sun Complex. We have a great list vendors selling arts, crafts, food, holiday gifts, baked goods, & more. VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO: Our team has been working closely with the local Environmental Health Officers to ensure that our Market meets all current recommendations, guidelines,... and protocols set out by the Emerging Wisely document & Health Orders of the GNWT. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents, vendors, patrons, staff, & community. As such, we have made some changes with how vendors & patrons will be able to access, visit, and purchase from our fantastic vendors at the Arctic Market. Good Morning Arctic Market Vendors & Patrons. A beautiful sunny Fall day here in Inuvik. We would like to thank you for an amazing Summer Arctic Market season. While we are done for the season our friends at the Inuvik Community Greenhouse continue to hold their bi-weekly Farmer's Markets through mid October. We suggest you follow their Facebook page for updates.... The Arctic Market will be taking a break during the fall time. We hope you take this short break and enjoy your time before Winter arrives. We know many of our crafters and artists normally take part in the Great Northern Arts Festival Society Craft Fair in November and while that organization is still assessing the event for this year as a result of COVID restrictions - we will be working with the Great Northern Arts Festival Society closely to provide opportunities for artists and crafters in our community. We are also working on our own plans for occasional WINTER Arctic Markets in the late Fall and over the Winter & Spring months. Thank you for your continued interest and support of our vendors & Market. Enjoy your weekends & we look forward to seeing you again soon.

FALL FAIR - Saturday, September 12 Rain or Shine from 11 am to 2 pm Outdoors under the Blue Tents & Inside the Community Hall Our Fall Fair will include:... - Our last SUMMER Arctic Market with 15+ vendors - LIVE Music performed by Abe Drennan - A special offering by the ACTMC who will be on site and customizing Arctic Market re-usable bags for FREE for the first 50 attendees **Please note that we have received special permission to expand the amount of people able to attend the event from the CEHO. While this will allow more patrons to visit our vendors at a time, our staff will be on site to ensure all physical distancing and capacity management measures are enforced. Please bring cash as the ATM will be unavailable. We also know that our friends & neighbours at the Inuvik Community Greenhouse will also be holding special Fall Fair events as part of their weekly Farmer's Market...so be sure to stop by.
