Yes I am the luckiest person in Canada to have the privilege of working with the good people of Arctic Bay, NU....where social distancing is never really that much of a challenge. What we should really be talking about here is how to get YOU up to this amazing location....Arctic Bay Adventures is here for you my fellow Canadians and guests from around the world!

Social distancing at its finest...thank you Niore for sharing this video/audio tape of all our friends at the floe edge. I believe they are singing a version of Bob Marley's song: Three Little Birds ...it just happens to be the Inuktitut version:0) Witness and hear music at the floe edge! Arctic Bay Adventures will get you to the dance floor.

A little spring fishing was in order this May long weekend ! Mason and Hosia worked hard at getting our hooks through the ice! Took every inch of the three extensions, Mason said it usually takes 5 to get through. Great sunshine for the day. Beautiful weekend up here in Arctic Bay....plenty of space to social distance from the world !

I want to thank two of ABA's professional guides who took me out on the ice today. Both Kimball Qamanirq and Hosia Kadloo would be busy with floe edge customers today...but we all know that story now eh? Today they only had me! Thank you Kimball and Hosia for the awesome day out in the ice....

Holy Moly that's beautiful....actually it's Holy Cross Point...and it is beautiful ! Spring time in the high Arctic....such an amazing place with miles and miles of open space, no crowds to get in your way when taking pictures.

It's official...our sun stays above the horizon today now for 24hrs a day till August 7th. That puts a bright spot on this dang covid-19. Stay happy people, we are here to stay and ready to welcome the world again to Arctic Bay, NU on the other side of the curve !;0) Stay healthy and safe!

Unfortunately covid-19 has shut our business season down for 2020...so we went out yesterday to see if the floe edge shut down as well! There are a few constants in this world...first, the sun will always rise up in the morning and secondly, the floe edge will be here for you next year. Thank you to Richard Bohlender and David Oyukuluk for the trip (of course special thanks to Robert, Curt, Gabriel, and Ethan )

Arctic Bay Adventures and the board are very sad to announce one of our regular staff Levi Kalluk tragically passed away last week. He worked tirelessly for ten months bringing much joy to our clients also to ABA staff. His work ethics and kind gestures will be missed greatly. Sincere condolences to his partner Koonoo and their beautiful children also to his mother and their family. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June the 24th, 2019 at the community hall here in Arctic Bay.
