Community Project Success! Aubrey Sluggett and Abby Nevitt collected recycling and used the monies to buy clothing and goods needed for the sobering centre. Aubrey told us, ‘it’s important to give back to your community because your community does so much for you and makes you who you are.’ We couldn’t agree more! We’re so proud of both of you both! #FOXY&SMASHGivesBack #NorthernKidKindness #FOXYSMASH

Community Project success! Ella Bertelsen made peanut butter dog treats for dogs at the NWT SPCA for her community project! When we asked Ella why it was important to give back to her community she told us, I think it’s important to give back to the community because, especially in the North were every town is tiny and tightly knit, everything that happens has a greater effect on people around you and it’s a kind thing to do. Personally I wanted to support the SPCA because we recently adopted our dog Clover earlier this year and I feel bad for the dogs that are still stuck there. Hopefully the treats brighten their day! We’re so proud of you Ella! #FOXY&SMASHGivesBack #NorthernKidKindness #FOXYSMASH

Community Project Success! Fredi Anne Inuktalik made baked goods and delivered them to Elders in her home community, Ulukhaktok, NT. When we asked Fredi Anne why it was important she told us: we have been through so much over the years, and I just wanted to bring happiness to some of the Elders who went through so much for us to be here. What an amazing way to brighten someone’s day and look out for our community! SO proud of you Fredi Anne! #FOXY&SMASHGivesBack #NorthernKidKindness #FOXYSMASH
