Calling all performers! QAGGIAVUUT! is seeking performing artists for an upcoming festival in Iqaluit on March 20th-21st. Singers, dancers, storytellers -- anyo...ne who can join us to celebrate Inuit culture and the upcoming spring! Details: - Performers will receive a performance fee. - Must be available to travel to (or already in) Iqaluit between March 18th/19th and March 21st/22nd. - All travel and accommodation expenses for non-Iqalummiut will be paid. Please send your letter of interest to [email protected] by March 10th, 2021. In your email, please include: - Your name(s) and age(s) - Your community of residence - A description of your performance - Your performance experience (any other festivals or shows you've been in) - A video of your performance (can link to an existing video or attach a video) NOTE: Qaggiavuut! is working in partnership with the Office of the CMOH of Nunavut to ensure this event is safe, including developing festival-specific COVID-19 health protocols.
