#dosomethinggoodtoday Back in December, our staff at @ajaxhottubs , @arctichottubs and @arctichottubsvaughan had a staff #volunteer day at Simcoe Hall Settlement House. After that day, we decided as a group that instead of a #secretsantagift we would collect our money and #donate ... Our staff was torn between feeding families and helping animals so we matched the donations so we could #giveback to both. We delivered supplies to @humanesocietyofdurhamregion in January and wanted to wait a while after the mass Christmas donations stopped pouring in to see how we could best help @simcoehallsh I met with Kate this morning (talk about an #inspiringperson ) and she shared that many people lose their homes in the summer and become #homeless so gave me the three main items they find most useful at this time of year. I collected the supplies and returned to drop off mr. Noodles #soup, #crackers and #juiceboxes . There was a great group of #helpful #volunteers who helped unload the trunk.
