The things you have to do to keep cool on a blazing hot summer day

This fiberglass insulation was a mouse autobahn in the ceiling of this basement. We removed all the pink insulation, the remains of the mice, and spray foamed the rim joists and walls. The lone survivor was not happy that we were tearing apart his community but it was time for him to move out!

Removed pink batt insulation and sprayed in rim/box joists today. You can see the pink batt is dark gray on the edge. This is indicative of air circulation which made this area quite cold in the winter. Foam will make this room much more comfortable in the winter :)

This is going to be tight. Lets see if we can turn this crawl space into a masterpiece. Ha

Ever wonder what a manhole looks like below the road? This one received 4" of closed cell foam before being backfilled.

Spray foamed this basement today. It was a renovation in an older home with 2x4 studded walls. Spray foam gives the required R-value, vapour barrier, air barrier, and thermal break to make this basement comfortable and efficient.

So we foamed the dock with 6" of closed cell foam. Finally got it in the lake and it turned out great. We reused the old walkway because it was still in good shape. Very stable in the water! .

Just built a dock at the shop. Stay tuned, we are going to fill it with 2lb closed cell foam next week and get it in the water :) Need a dock? Ask us for a quote. You build, we spray or we build and spray.

Spray foaming the ground with 2lb closed cell foam prior to pouring concrete creates a thermal break, fills all the cavities within the rock so the concrete is far less likely to crack and most importantly, it significantly decreases Radon Gas within the home.
