Edmonton-born choreographer Peggy Baker is the subject of a new documentary, Dancing Darkness. The documentary has had it's Canadian premiere this week as part of Montreal’s 39th Festival International du Film sur l'Art / International Festival of Films on Art. Peggy performed at The Arden on Oct 25, 2010 - and graced our season brochure for the 2010-11 season. Information and a ticket for this film (and the whole incredible festival) can be found here: https://lefifa.com//dancing-darkness-peggy-baker-conjures-

Now that was a St. Patrick's Day celebration! Five years ago, today we had the distinct pleasure of hosting the incredibly talented, Sharon Shannon. While we are not able to celebrate this year with a concert at The Arden, we still wanted to wish you all a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!

We all need a good laugh and are thrilled to bring them to The Arden Theatre stage, Saturday, December 12 at 7:30 PM. Our friends at Lacombe Park Spirits have paired our Tuesday livestream concert with Blues Legend Taj Mahal with a signature cocktail. The Winter Spice Cocktail is layered with flavour and can bring the heat - so a natural fit for this music icon. In a rocks glass: - Ice - 1 & 1/2 oz, Confluence Distilling Winter Spice Gin (inspired by the ginger snap cookie and an incredible local product) ... - 4 oz, Troubled Monk ginger ale (or any ginger ale of your choosing) - Top with a lemon or lime wedge or take it up a notch add a sprig of rosemary. If you are looking for great non-alcoholic options, Troubled Monk makes four different sodas. We recommend you check them out. Tickets for Taj Mahal are available go to www.ardentheatre.com for tickets.
