Unfortunately with the latest announcement from Alberta Health Services on Nov 12Th the Ardrossan Curling Club will be closed from November 13 to November 27, 2020. Once again I would like to thank all the volunteers and members that have worked so hard towards a safe start up this year, and can assure you we will do everything possible to continue to exceed AHS regulations when we start up again. Further information will become available shortly as we work with the County and AHS on this latest announcement!

Would like to thank all the volunteers and members for helping us with our start up this year. It has been a challenge, but we will continue to adapt as needed so that we are all safe and can continue to enjoy the sport. We will continue to follow all the guidelines set forth by the county, AHS and Curl Canada and appreciate any comments or concerns anyone might have to help us continue with our curling season in the safest way possible. As winter is now upon us more people are looking for something to do, so we are excited to finally be starting up our Open Doubles League next Friday (Nov 20). If you are interested or have any questions about our new safety procedures, please do not hesitate to drop us a note.

As I am sure it comes to no surprise to anyone that due to the COVID-19 outbreak the Ardrossan Curling Club is closed for the remainder of the season. As recommended by the Alberta Health Services we will regrettably also be cancelling our year end wind up. We are currently working with the county to schedule a time that members can come in and grab any of their personal belongings, and pay any outstanding bills. When we have more information on this we will post the information and also have our league representatives distribute the information. In addition we have postponed our AGM meeting scheduled for April, and will provide more information on that as well when it is available. On behalf of the Ardrossan Curling Club I would like to say thanks for a great year, and stay safe as we deal with this current pandemic.

Hope that everyone is still safe and enjoying the hot summer weather. As previously mentioned we are continuing with our re-opening plan and now have asked the League Representatives to reach out to everyone over the next couple of weeks. We would like to hear what your thoughts are for next year, and try to address any concerns or answer any questions that you might have at this time. As we are a smaller rural rink we are fortunate that we do not have the same issues that many of the larger city rinks many have, but we are still focused on our goal to have a safe environment for everyone. If you are not a current member and looking to join a league next year please send a message and I will answer any questions that you might have.

Hello Everyone Hope everyone is still safe and healthy, and judging by the calls it seems already thinking about the upcoming curling season. We obviously do not have all the answers yet but I can confirm we will be doing everything possible to Re-Start in the fall. Currently we are working with the County, Curling Alberta and Curl Canada on our return to play procedures, with the focus being on the safety of all the members and getting back to the sport that we love to pla...y. Feel free to send a message should you have any concerns that you would like to discuss directly, or if you prefer we will be having our yearly AGM Tuesday July 28. Just drop us a note if you would like more details on the meetings, with the current restrictions we will need to make special arrangements to maintain our social distancing. In September we will create a Return to Play Committee and have more information to share, but in the meantime enjoy your summer and stay safe! On behalf of the Ardrossan Curling Club I would like to Thank You for your continued Support
