Last week we were honoured to celebrate with BlueSky Properties, a Bosa Family Company as they welcomed the "This Beautiful Day" art piece by Studio Kristin Mc...Iver back to its original home in Squamish. Currently located on site at BlueSky Properties' SEAandSKY project, the 26 foot solar-powered neon sign was originally installed as part of the 2014-2016 Vancouver Biennale International Artist Residency program. The phrase This Beautiful Day (Hath Skwile Te-staas) is inspired by the Squamish First Nation’s oral traditions and an acknowledgement expressed at the beginning of their public gatherings.
