Hello ARES Parents, I hope everyone had a good holiday break and stayed healthy! The ARES PAC is ready to get back to work so we have a meeting scheduled this Wednesday, 6 January at 9:00am. We are now actively working toward our goal of having every classroom represented at our meetings. At our December meeting we asked all parents participating to identify which classrooms their children are in - the classroom covered were Matt Blick's, Lindsay Miller's, Linda Cote's, and D...anielle Sonntag's. We have identified this as very intermediate heavy and has us all worried about sustainability of the PAC going forward without more primary parents becoming involved. Please consider joining us this Wednesday to find out what we do and what the PAC offers to all our students at ARES. Happy New Year! Greg ARES PAC Chair

Hello ARES Parents: We have arrived at that important date in this year's calendar -- the ARES PAC AGM! Please join us on Wednesday, October 7 at 9:00am for lively discussion and voting on your 2020-2021 PAC Executive Board. We are still accepting nominations up till voting the day of the meeting so please let me know if you would like to get more involved. The positions being voted on are Chair, Secretary, and Interim Treasurer. These are set at 2 year stints except for the ...Interim Treasurer which is a year this time around. The existing incumbents have accepted being nominated to post again but our years are numbered at ARES and we need to be thinking of succession very quickly! The most important thing we need on Wednesday are parents to join us -- we require a quorum of members (parents) to provide legitimacy to the proceedings! Please come out and join us and we love to see new faces!!! If you have never attended a PAC meeting this is a great opportunity to meet other parents and hear what is going on around your student's school! This will be a Zoom meeting to adhere to present social-distancing guidelines. Kind Regards, Greg Wanke [email protected] is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
