From six months to 2 1/2 years, this young Great Dane was on 80 mg Prozac and 750 mg Trazodone. This is human levels. David's dysfunctions were extremely dangerous. Hence the amount of medication. Plus Serotonin Syndrome as a side effect. Turned down by every giant breed rescue org and every master dog trainer in North America. Rescued by the founder of Tails Of Freedom K9 Rescue, Bobbi Jo Becker. My personal Great Danes are rescues deemed predatorial. From extremely horrific and chronic abuse. Neglect. Beatings. They become predacious with extreme issues. Guarding of all resources, areas. Human attacks exceeds one dozen with a few of them. I prefer they weigh over 150 lbs and 35" withers minimum. I work with dogs and parents with basic issues that seem odd. These are traits which can aggregate into the start of unwanted dysfunctions such as skittishness, OCD or predatorial behaviour.
