We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Ian Buckley to our team! Dr. Buckley graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University. He is also a current member of the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2010, he was selected by the Canadian Armed Forces for postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His residency was based out of the world's largest and busiest medical centers - The Texas Medical Center in Houston. Upon completing his residency in 2014, Dr. Buckley successfully passed his specialty board examination, and is now a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Buckley to the Argyle team!

We are very pleased to let you know that Argyle Associates is reopening next week! With provincial guidelines now allowing for elective procedures to be performed once again, all four of our oral surgery facilities will be back up and running. Argyle is proud to be on the leading edge of infection control. Our teams are operating fully within (and in some cases beyond) the guidelines as set forth by the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontar...io, the CDC & other health authorities. These steps include using enhanced PPE, physical distancing and minimizing the number of patients in the waiting room, daily screening of all our staff and patients for Covid-19 signs/symptoms, additional sterilization measures and numerous other methods of ensuring the health & safety of our patients and staff. We have even consulted with HVAC engineers, finding ways to increase air flow in operatories and utilize HEPA filters to clean the air of viruses and thus reducing infection risk. ALL of our staff have been called back to work including those that have been temporarily laid off during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, their dedication never wavered. Many of our staff members and their families were sewing gowns and masks so that we could continue to treat emergency patients. We’re so proud of our amazing Argyle team! We are also grateful for the support and assistance of numerous members of the Ottawa dental community who kindly donated much-needed PPE supplies.
