Disappointed and angry to be sharing that over the past few days 25 London Transit bus shelters have had the glass completely destroyed by a vandal(s)! The majo...rity of these have been in Ward 2. This is clearly a planned act of destruction by someone(s), because the glass in some has been replaced only to be destroyed again that night. Unfortunately, unless someone has witnessed something or happens to have caught it on a home security camera or phone, it is difficult for the police to track down the perpetrators and charge them. If anyone has any information that could help, please send it to me at: [email protected] and I will get it to the proper people. Sadly, LTC cannot keep replacing glass, they are facing enough challenges right now with financial and staff resources with the pandemic. As a result, a DO NOT REPAIR order is in place for the time being. Only clean-up of a mess will occur, new glass will not be coming immediately.
