Thank you for the incredibly heart felt review - Dear Michael, chef Anthony and staff at Aria Bistro and Lounge, I would like to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for the compassion, generosity and kindness shown to myself and my family. ... Michael, a friend of many years was aware that I became ill back in March and have been suffering long term effects of what is believed to be Post-Covid syndrome. I have debilitating symptoms that leave me bed ridden most days. The simplest of tasks such as making a sandwich were too difficult for me to manage. This was detrimental to me, always loving to cook for my family. I wanted so much to be able to prepare a birthday meal for my son as I always do. A meal of his choice. However, I was too ill to do it. Michael, being the wonderful person that he is, would check on me periodically and was aware of how much this bothered me. One beautiful day in September, Michael (without my knowledge), had arranged with my son to have the family gathering I had been wishing for and so desperately needed. When my son arrived at Aria, Michael had trays and trays of food that were lovingly prepared for my family by chef Anthony. A delicious feast including steak, lamb, grilled shrimp, roasted potatoes, vegetables and a gourmet salad. Everything graciously provided at the expense of Aria. He would not accept any money. My son brought the food to my home and we, along with the rest of my children and grandchildren enjoyed the most beautiful, delicious meal together. It was the most wonderful gift I could possibly receive! The gift of love and compassion. Not to mention such amazing food! This meant the world to me. I will forever be indebted to Michael and his staff for this beautiful, selfless gift. I wanted everyone to be aware that this act of kindness from Michael impacted my life so greatly. The only way that I know to repay this amazing gift is to bring awareness to the kind, selfless gesture made to myself, husband and family. I am not one to post my personal business on social media. However, I needed to share this story with you. I know times are tough for everyone. But please, if you are able to, please continue to support your local restaurants. Especially my favourite one in the entire world, Aria Bistro and Lounge. They are so dedicated to what they do and are most deserving of our patronage! Michael Cherry and his staff are always ensuring that the quality, service and dining experience you receive is phemomenal. Thank you again Michael and staff for showing me that kindness and empathy still exists in this world. I will never forget your kindness. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.
