Faramarz Arian Sajed was born in Iran in 1945. He came to Canada as an immigrant after the Iranian revolution in 1980. He has been creating art and crafts since his youth. He trained as a mechanical engineer and worked in that field for 30 years while he and his wife raised their two sons. Now in later life he has devoted himself to his passion for art. He specializes in painting on glass, woodworking, and making cabinets and furniture from reclaimed lumber. He enjoys learning, experimenting and creating new pieces every year.
