Christina & Jason's wedding consisted of their stunning property, an awesome confetti toss recessional, a super cool arch created by the groom himself, an unforgettable mother-daughter dance, epiccccc night-time photos, and THESE TWO INCREDIBLE HUMANS!!! I cannot praise these two enough. Y'all, these times are crazy. There were (and still are) so many unknowns with Covid. But these two pushed through. I can't even fathom the mental and emotional toll it takes to have yo...ur wedding plans crushed by the pandemic. But I can tell you the strength these two had to persevere. They changed everything 3 months before their wedding. 3 MONTHS! Christina was on the freaking ball organizing and updating everyone, waiting to hear news if the number of wedding guests would ever increase from 5 people. They worked hard to transform their property to be ready by their wedding day. They planned everything possible to create a safe environment for all their guests. It may have not been what they originally planned, but it ended up being more perfect than they hoped for. During the speeches, Christina mentioned that this truly taught them what mattered most. When it comes down to it all, the reason for the wedding day is to be marrying your best friend. And that's exactly what they did! Our #ADMCouples are the absolute BEST. I know we say that a lot, but they really are THE BEST IN THE WORLD. We serve the kindest, hard-working, family-oriented, fun-loving couples in the whole wide world. Victoria & Kyle's wedding consisted of an intimate ceremony, SO much love from family, the happiest & most tender vows, gorgeous florals, a stunning backyard, and THESE TWO INCREDIBLE HUMANS Despite what the world threw at them, they wanted to start their lives together and this pandemic was not going to stop them! Although this wasn't the wedding they had originally planned, the day could not have gone more perfect or be more beautiful. We loved EVERYTHING about their... wedding, but these two moments were our favourites: 1) . We weren't able to see Victoria or meet Kyle before their wedding day. We've never been able to see them interact with each other. Kyle's reaction to seeing Victoria was so special. You could immediately feel the amount of love he had for her as he waited for her at the end of the aisle. Their speeches were filled with love, laughter, and dreams for their future. 2) . When we arrived, we went to see Victoria first. Where did we find her? In the bathroom doing her mom's makeup. What did she do after? Help one of her sisters out with their hair and makeup. At one point she said to me (Ariana), "this isn't typically what you see brides do...". But I thought that moment was beautiful! Of all the things Victoria could have been doing for herself, she chose to help her family. We've always seen the Murphy family as a close one - this moment really showed how selfless and kind Victoria's heart is, and how she puts family first. Our #ADMCouples are the absolute BEST. I know we say that a lot, but they really are THE BEST IN THE WORLD. We serve the kindest, optimistic, family-oriented, fun-loving couples in the whole wide world. We've been keeping a secret!!!! We're chucking Ariana del Mundo Photography In its place, we present to you Ariana and Alex (@_arianaandalex on Instagram) ! Why the change? First and foremost, it no longer felt right to have my name being the only one represented. This is so far from a one-woman show. We wanted this biz to reflect a from the moment you come in contact with it.... Secondly, although we photograph weddings together, Alex and I have our own area of specialties when it comes to photography. It was starting to get confusing to say "Ariana del Mundo Photography is actually a husband and wife wedding photography team, BUT Ariana photographs everything else solo. But Alex also shoots on his own." Bleh! Our life and business motto is to " ". For our wedding photography, it has always been about celebrating the magic of an individual, as well as the magic they create as a partnership. Two people--with unique talents, abilities, and personalities--come together in marriage and create a whole new beautiful thing. We make a heck of a good team, so we're celebrating and honouring that with the new & . We're also our own person with different skills and talents, so we're going to celebrate and honour that, too. We're thinking of you As an extrovert and as a business owner, deciding to stay in for the next 14+ days and to actively avoid social gatherings causes a lot of anxiety inside of me. My energy levels are so low and it sucks. However, Alex and I made the decision to stay inside and practice social distancing because our for staying inside is so much stronger than our reasons to be out. We do it for our #ADMCouples .... We do it for our friends who are at high-risk. We do it for our families, especially the young and the elderly. To our #ADMCouples: We love you and are here for you. If you are worried about your wedding, please contact us immediately so we can help. To our small business friends: We love you and understand how hard it must be to choose to close your doors temporarily. Thank you for making the decision to help the community. To our wedding industry friends: We love you and are right there with you when it comes to thinking about the couples we serve. To the healthcare, social care, and emergency and service workers: thank you. Thank you for all you are doing for the community. This is a difficult time for everyone, and each have their own reasons for why it is so. Be kind to one another. Check up on each other. Wash your friggin hands. Practice social distancing. This shoot, styled by @wild_honeyweddings , was inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones and was featured on @dearbrideblog on the weekend of the series finale. I still can't get over all these delicate details that look so feminine and romantic, but still have elements from the darker-themed TV show. Brenna said it best: "We wanted to show brides that it is possible to incorporate a theme into your wedding without sacrificing the sophistication and class ...of your event. To achieve this, we decided to avoid emulating the aesthetic of the popular tv show, but rather make subtle references to the storyline to maintain an elegant atmosphere."
